Founded by Eleanor Brown
Eleanor – a Jamaican national, Rhodes Scholar, and Yale Law graduate – founded Diversiboard to change the way the tech recruiting industry operates amid high diversity awareness and severe engineer shortages. Diversiboard board members have a wide network of connections including deep ties and citizenship in the Caribbean Community, as well as unparalleled access to accredited engineering schools.
Diversiboard was built on the premise that if all unconscious biases were stripped away and talent could be looked at with a blind eye on a level playing field, more tech opportunities would be open to highly qualified people of color.

Sunny Bates explores the threads, people and organizations that are working at the edge and shaping the future. For over 20 years, she has been a guide for an increasingly networked age, bringing together entrepreneurs, intellectuals, creators, innovators, artists and executives from around the globe to tackle some of our most pressing questions.
Focusing on topics from alternative currencies to genomic technologies, Sunny exercises her network development expertise on behalf of TED, The Human Vaccines Project, Blackrock, and many other established enterprises. In addition, Sunny engages a wide array of organizations, from startups like Kickstarter, to nonprofits like the Acumen Fund, Creative Capital and Endeavor Global, to help them uncover and maximize potential. She is well known for her popular initiatives like Connect & Conspire, Standard Talks at The Standard Hotels, monthly Cereal Entrepreneurs breakfast and other transformational gatherings for the people and organizations that are innovating their way into the future.
